Overall Resort is a 10/10. Had to cancel last reservation to due Covid but the staff that helped me with cancelation was very informative and helpful. This is our go to resort anytime we are visiting family in that area. The rooms are always well kept and clean. Favorite part is the views from.room

LP has a special place in my ♡. I grew up here. It's a small older town but beautiful and close to many other cities. If you want a great breakfast visit JB Burger. Cash only. If you're a Ca. history buff there is an interesting story here.

I contacted the owner about roaches in my room after one had crawled up my leg when I was laying in bed. I attempted to call the owner but my call was ignored. I texted her and she did apologize and said she would put out poison on the fence.She believed they had come from the neighbors. I said I would give it a day or so for her to get this taken care of and then I would request my money back. She responded saying that there was nothing she could do and if I wanted any money back to contact booking. I did I emailed them the picture of the roach and explained what happened. When they contacted her she told them she offered me a refund for my remaining stay and she offered to come clean the room in reality she never did either. Instead she proceeded to insist that I leave the room and go stay somewhere else but I didn't have the money to stay anywhere else I was stuck there and booking could do nothing for me because she lied and said she already offered me compensation. I would never recommend this place to anybody spend the extra money and get somewhere roach free with heat and owners who at least care enough to set up their voice mail.

I really can’t say much as I only was here because this was the location my room was. But from what I saw driving to and from this place it seems quiet safe family friendly enough! Lots of great taquerias around!!
